Cheers to...

Sandy Hankwitz, program aide for the Chegwin Afterschool Clubhouse.  Sandy has been named Staff of the Month for January for her dedication to the programming at Chegwin.  Sandy is often the first staff to arrive at the afterschool program and the last to leave at the end of the day.  She has a strong dedication to providing fun and discipline to all of the kids in the program.  Sandy has also acted as a substitute program leader for our PALS program, offering program to high school student with cognitive disabilities.  Thank you to Sandy for all she does to make the Club a great place to be! 

Amanda Walker, program coordinator at the Franklin Afterschool Clubhouse.  Amanda has been named Staff of the Month for December for her willingness to go above and beyond her job responsibilities to make the Club site run effectively.  Whether it is hopping on a bus route to supervise kids or help make 100 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, she is always there to lend a positive helping hand.  Thank you Amanda for all you do for the Boys & girls Club!

Eric Pantojas, program aide at the Riverside Afterschool Clubhouse. Eric has been named Staff of the Month for November for his exemplary skills  and constant good attitude in working with the youth in his program. Eric was named BGC of FDL Youth of the Year in 2008, and has been a fixture of the Club for the last ten years. A special thank you to Eric for all he continues to do for the youth who attend the Riverside Clubhouse of the Boys & Girls Club!

Haley Fellers, program aide at the Franklin Teen Center.  Haley has been named the Staff of the Month for October for her willingness to help out the Boys & Girls Club in whatever way she could.  She acted as a subsitute for the Franklin Afterschool Clubhouse as well as the PALS program when they were short of staff.  She has a great relationship with the students in all of the programs she works in, and that makes for a great place where kids want to be.  thanks again to Haley for all she does for the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac!

Taylor Putz, program aide at the Pier Afterschool Clubhouse. Taylor has been named Staff of the Month for September for his exemplary skills in working with the youth in his program. Taylor has shown the ability to relate well and build a positive rapport with all of the kids in the program. The members and fellow staff appreciate his upbeat attitude and willingness to have fun. A special thank you to Taylor for all he does for the Boys & Girls Club!

National Exchange Bank and Trust employees.  National Exchange Bank has continued their exceptional commitment to the Club by starting up their fourth consecutive year of volunteering at the Pier afterschool Program. National Exchange has dozens of dedicated people who come and help facilitate homework assistance and enrichment programs to our Pier members. They are a true leader in community support!  Thanks National Exchange Bank!

Upcoming Events

March 29, 2010 - April 2, 2010 | Chegwin, Pier & Riverside Closed

Chegwin, Pier and Riverside afterschool locations will be closed for the half day of school. The Franklin Center will be open from 9:00-5:00 for all K/5 members and 10:00-4:00 pm for teens. K/5 members must call ahead to sign their kids up for non-school days, so contact Karissa at 920-924-0530 to register.
